Enjoy sandy beaches and crystal clear blue water\, surfing (bring your wet suit & board and hopefully catch some tasty waves)\, nature trails in the woods\, miles of paved bike trails\, and enjoying the company of 100’s of your best friends! All VW’s and VW lovers are welcome. No need to have a bus! \nWe are excited to announce the Bus Benefit 2018 Music lineup! \nFriday\nLipstick Jodi\nNicholas James and the Bandwagon \nSaturday\nThe Rupple Brothers & Company\nFauxgrass\nWatching for Foxes\nThe Mainstays \nSunday\nCold Mountain Child\nMark Lavengood\nRoosevelt Diggs\nAdrian+Meredith \nWoods Stage – Acoustic Performances TBA \n– Primitive Camping with no electricity or water. There is a potable water source and a bath house with showers and restroom facilities on the main campus across the road from where we will be camping. There will be porta-potties on site. \n– No generators\, no drums or individual fires. For safety reasons\, we have constructed community fire pits for everyone to enjoy. \n– Dogs are welcome if they are friendly\, remain on a leash\, do well in crowds and are cleaned up after. Unruly animals and their owners will be asked to leave. \n– Alcohol is permitted but obnoxious drunks are not. This is a family friendly camping event so please be respectful of others. \n– Ropes and Rocks Pass is $15 per person. This activity is for anyone between the ages of 9 to 90. Outdoor Adventure Professionals will be on hand to run the High Ropes Course and the Rock Climbing Wall. Please stay off the Wall and the Ropes course when it is not staffed. \n***New This Year***\n– Early entry to Bus Benefit 2018 will be available to Volkswagen Bus Owners who arrive IN THEIR BUS and have purchased a weekend pass. Early entry will begin on Thursday\, May 24\, 2018 @ 4:00 PM. Again\, This is only for Volkswagen Bus Owners who arrive IN THEIR BUS. \n– Gates open to ALL ticket holders on Friday\, May 25\, 2018 @ 9:00 AM. \nPer Person Weekend Admission Rates for those 18 and older:\n– Early Bird tickets are $60 through April 19;\n– Regular price tickets are $75 through April 20 through May 15;\n– Gate admission will be available for $90 \nDay passes will be available at the gate for $45 per person. \n18 & over pay the above prices\n17 and under free when accompanied by a paying adult \nVehicle Fee:\nThere is limited space at Camp Blodgett to accommodate vehicles in the camping area. This year we will be charging a vehicle fee of $20 for ALL NON VW Bus vehicles. \nOnce again\, we are offering an RV Pass for Large RVs. This applies to ALL RVs 19 feet or longer. The RV Pass will cost $50 and THERE ARE ONLY 5 AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. **This pass does not include the cost of admission to the event. The group is composed of Bay City born-and-raised journeymen who have played in notable groups such as San Diego-based instrumental outfit Tristeza\, stoner/doom/van-and-bandana metal aficionados Whaler\, and hardcore punk legends Bev.Clone alongside HHM Music’s founding father Tommy Jenkins. \nLipstick Jodi (Grand Rapids)\nHot on the heels of their debut LP’s release\, this alt. pop quartet is equal parts attitude and charisma. Their indelible earworms and singalong choruses are midwifed by the finest of ‘80s punk. Their tunes occupy that middle part in a Venn diagram where the Replacements\, Metallica\, Taylor Swift\, St. Vincent\, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs overlap.  \nThe Kickback (Chicago)\nThe Kickback is a burgeoning indie rock phenom. Their cup runneth over with youthful vitality that manifests in their infectious hooks. They’re unhinged and experimental\, yet they temper their tunes with a degree of familiarity and intimacy when need be. If you took the paradigms set by Spoon\, Vampire Weekend\, and the Shins\, add in the fevered mania of Hunter S. Thompson’s writings\, and a pinch of Twin Peaks’ surrealism\, you’d arrive at the crossroads the Kickback calls home. \nGringo Star (Atlanta)\nGringo Star was made for sultry\, Indian summer twilights. Their aesthetic emanates from an idiosyncratic realm wherein the swamps of the Deep South and the arid mesas of the southwestern deserts share a border. With a cheeky yet deft approach to mining America’s musical legacy\, they explore Delta blues\, twangy alt. country\, dusty folk\, proto pop\, surf rock\, and trippy psychedelia then deliver it through a filter of unbridled garage rock.
